Last year was filled with hurt and injury for Giancarlo Stanton, however, he has come across that and is ready to have a big year ahead with the New York Yankees.

Fortunately, he has fully recovered from all the injuries he had endured in 2020 and is ready to ake 2020 by storm. Additionally, manager Aaron Boone is very confident about his left fielder.

According to Boone, “G’s going to have a great year,” and so he said on YES network’s Hot Stove. Boone went on to add “Obviously the key for him is staying healthy, which was a challenge last year.

He had a couple of freak things happen, especially the time he was coming back and he hurt the knee on a funky slide.”

However, Stanton has not failed in that regard. He has been working throughout the offseason to keep his body healthy and mind free from any kind of ailment.

Not only that, but he also made his efforts known by sharing a video of his workout training on his Twitter handle.

In addition to his physical development, Boone also talked about Stanton’s mindset in the year to come. Quoting him: “I feel like Giancarlo is in such a good frame of mind.

I felt that way all year last year. I felt like we were seeing that in the limited time he did play in the quality of his at-bats, his focus.”

Stanton had only played 18 games last season in which he managed to hit three home runs and knocked out around 13 RBIs.

The year before that was his first innings with New York Yankees. As per Boone “I feel like he’s in position to go out and have a great year and I’m confident he will,” Well we sure hope so Stanton. We have a lot of expectations from you.
