At the Australian Open, on a day of upsets, Milos Raonic at his best keeps the storyline going.

He gained almost 400 places on the ATP ranking list, creating the top 30 at 20 and becoming one of the most consistent players between April 2010 and April 2011.

Milos has already claimed eight ATP titles and fought for the masters 1000 crowns and also in the Wimbledon final, becoming world no, finishing in the top 35 for nine years.

Raonic 29 has been played by injuries in the last few years, missed most of the portions of the second half of last season. The main thing is that the start hadn’t won a match since October from recent victory.

Raonic stated, “I think I have had a sense that tennis could come together if I could put the work in behind it and I think all those pieces today came together.” Also, “I was very happy with the outcome on the court.”

A career-best world no 3 in 2016 has dropped to 35th due to injuries. He said that it will take time to heal about a month where he didn’t serve.

Raonic hadn’t faced Tsitsipas before Friday, compared his play to effort in a three-set loss against then no 5 Dominic Thiem late last year at the Paris Masters.

He said, “ I created so many opportunities for myself, but I didn’t have the chance to prepare as I did here.” He played the best tennis of his career at the Melbourne. This marks the fifth.

Raonic said he expects a tough match. “ I wish things were different but now I have to work my way back up.

I feel like my tennis is there and I have to stay healthy and give myself a chance to compete for for.. I think I can play even better than in the past,” stated Raonic.
