Former West Indies Captain, Dwayne Bravo gave the fans a ray of hope by saying that MS Dhoni will be back for the T20 World Cup in 2020. He even told the media about the reasons for the same while discussing his reasons for coming back.

MS Dhoni has been off-field, and out of the limelight after team, India lost the 2019 semifinal World Cup against New Zealand. He took a break from cricket in July. He was not available for selections as well.

In his absence, the responsibility of team management has landed on Rishabh Pant. He is taking over in the absence of the former Indian Captain.

Dhoni’s hiatus has sparked the rumours of his retirement. He did not talk about his retirement and held it off to January.

Dhoni’s teammate in Chennai Superking, Dwayne Bravo had announced his retirement in October 2018. But with a change of mind on 13th December, he announced his return to the game. He told Time of India that he is feeling physically well and have a lot to offer.

The reason for his retirement was off-field politics. With a change in leadership, both on-field and off-field has made him come back to cricket.

For the West Indies team, he said that the members are young and vibrant. He said if the young members are well then the Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and he can return to the team.

Upon being asked about the situation surrounding Dhoni, he said that Dhoni would never retire from cricket, not currently.

He further said that Dhoni has always encouraged everyone not to be influenced by things outside cricket. He has also encouraged everyone to not to panic and trust their abilities.

It is a relief that Dhoni would be back to cricket. The Ranchi-player has always been passionate about the game. The fans will be very excited.
