Mohammad Hafeez (born 17 October 1980) may be a Pakistani cricketer. Hafeez usually opens the batting and is a component of the bowling attack.

He widely considered one among the simplest all-rounders within the world, and in many cases the highest all-rounder within the ICC Player Rankings limited-overs format.

He’s known for his intelligent batting and playing aggressive shots when needed. He retired from Test cricket in December 2018, last seen during a white dress to honor his teammates.

He is the fourth international player to sign the Caribbean Premier League and therefore the first Pakistani player to be named within the new 20-20 tournament.

He has the nickname “Professor”. The main teams he played for were Pakistan, Lahore, Lahore Lions, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sargodha and Sui Gas Corporation of Pakistan.

He has been a reliable player for years. Hafeez scored 224 runs in his Test career over Bangladesh within the 2015 Don Cake Series in Khulna.

Hafeez has been suspended from bowling in English cricket domestic tournaments.

According to ESPNcricinfo’s report, the off-spinner Hafeez’s action during the Vitality Blast (T20) match between County Middlesex against Somerset on August 30 was illegal.

On-field umpires reported his action. Mohammad Hafeez was once involved in illegal activities, with the results of an assessment that the elbow extension for his off-break exceeds the 15-degree tolerance limit for bowling action.

The bowling review team heard his appeal at Lord’s on Tuesday and suspended him from bowling in ECB matches and advised him to return to action. Hafiz may request a revaluation of his action.

“I have received an ECB Bowling Review Group report on my bowling action,” Hafiz said during a statement.

“Although the review committee acknowledged the accepted procedural test shortcomings and realized that the findings would affect my reputation as a worldwide proven all-rounder, I accept as true with the Bowling Review Group’s results.”

“As per ECB regulations, I’m able to attend independent analysis at an ICC-accredited center in order that I’m eligible to play at ECB-organized events.” Hafeez was first sent back in 2005 and has been dispatched several times since then.

Hafeez was recently allowed to bowl in international cricket in May 2018. New Zealand senior batsman Ross Taylor, however, questioned the legitimacy of his action during a one-day match in Abu Dhabi in November 2018.
