Golf Report: Cantlay to miss WGC-Mexico championship because of his surgery

Golf Channel reported that Patrick Cantley will not be able to compete in the WGC-Mexico Championship next week and will miss some more tournaments, possibly due to surgery to repair the partition.

“It’s hard to sleep,” Kinley told the Golf Channel on Friday. “It’s hard to fall asleep. It’s hard to fall asleep.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, a misaligned septum blocks one side of the nose, reduces airflow and makes breathing difficult.

Cantlay told Golf Channel he expected to recover in the coming weeks, but he had no idea when to return to the tour.

The Players Championship, held from March 12 to 15 at TPC Sawgrass, Florida, is the biggest tournament against Masters.

Patrick Cantley undergoes missing septum surgery
LOS ANGELES – Patrick Cantley was lost during the WGC-Mexico Championship next week and the partition was corrected during surgery.

Cantlay was first treated in November 2018, but said another surgery was needed to “clean slightly.”

“I have trouble sleeping,” he said Saturday at the Riviera. “It’s hard to sleep. I can’t sleep.”
The septum is the bone and cartilage that separate the two nostrils from the nose, and the only way to improve airflow is through surgery.

Cantlay is expected to recover fully in a few weeks. The Players Championship starts in four weeks, but Cantley did not know exactly when to return to the competition.

When preparing for the Masters and asking why he is currently being treated, Cantley “ had never seen a doctor who thought he could do a better job until recently. ”

Ranked sixth in the world, Cantlay is one of the most consistent players in the game. This season, he lost in the playoffs in Las Vegas, finished fourth in Kapalua and finished 11 in Pebble Beach last week. He is currently out of the top 35 in three rounds on the Riviera.
