FIA's hubart crash report "raises more questions than answers" - Correa said that it was life taking accident

Juan Manuel Correa states that the FIA’s investigation into the F2 accident alleging the life of Antoine Hubert “gives more questions than answers.”

Juan Manuel Correa states that the FIA’s investigation into the F2 accident, which takes the life of Antoine Hubert, “adds more questions than answers.”

Correa was seriously injured and killed Hubert in a multi-vehicle accident on lap 2 of the F2 features race on August 31 in Spa-Francorchamps.

After five months of investigating the accident, the FIA published a report last week that concluded that the accident did not have a single cause and that no one was responsible.

The report details how Hubert was killed by a “non-viable trauma” caused by three separate effects.

The first collision with the Raidillon exit barrier resulted in a maximum force of 33.7G. Later, Hubert’s car hit the Belt with an impact of 81.8G and then hit the barrier again.

Correa on social media revealed that although the full FIA accident report had not been delivered, he was recovering from the injury suffered in the incident.

The FIA Security Department has spent above five months on this investigation, but for me, its summary raises more questions than answers,” Correa said in an Instagram post.

In addition, it was surprising that a complete and complete accident report was not available, which allowed us to better understand the conclusions reached by the FIA.

On August 31, 2019, friends and fellow drivers lost their lives, their families lost their loved ones and were seriously injured.

If it is useful, perhaps all this pain and sacrifice could have some meaning.
As a result, I will continue to work with the legal team to obtain a copy of the entire incident report.

I would like to be in a position to comment further as the report becomes available and we get clearer information about the conclusions that the FIA has reached and the security improvements it brings
